Birthday Party Success!

Emma, Shawna, Emily, Nathan, Sadie, Kiona & Morgan

Make a wish, Morgan . . .

Well, the birthday party was a success. Despite everybody in Burnsville being at Skateville, we all had a great time! I have never seen so many people at that place in one time in my life. But, I even laced up my in-lines and got out on the rink myself! It was a blast -- the most fun I've had at one of my kids' birthday parties yet. I received a bunch of compliments on the cake and had one gal ask me how I did it so she could make one for her daughter's upcoming party.

Morgan's friend Kiona is spending the night here. They played with Morgan's new toys, I made stir-fry for dinner and now they're watching the Sponge Bob movie. Great fun!

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead. It's already 10:42 as far as I'm concerned, so I'm going to bed. Tomorrow is a BUSY day!

April Fool's???

Posted by Hello

You're probably thinking "What the heck???? Is this some kind of an April Fool's Joke???" No, it's the before shot of Morgan's cake. An hour and a half later it looked like this . . .

Cake

Not the greatest, but it was my first doll cake . . . and Morgan thought it was terrific!

We went up to my birthparents' tonight for pizza and Morgan's birthday celebration. Carrie & Kyle were there also. It was fun and relaxing. Now we get to sleep for a little before the party at Skateville. Will I be brave and lace up my in-lines?

Booooooooooring

I think I must have the most boring blog in the whole univerise!

Tonight was my first night on my own at Ebenezer. It was almost uneventful and the only even that was extraordinary is too disgusting to mention here. Suffice it to say, I helped a patient in a way that I hope to not have to do again in a looooooong time. I was only 45 minutes late getting done with work which I don't think is too bad on my first night.

And I also learned that it's kinda scary to go grocery shopping at midnight!

Busy weekend planned . . . pizza at Sue & Steve's friday night, Morgan's birthday party at Skateville on Saturday, and Easter (a week late) at my parents on Sunday in Faribault . . . hope to have lots of pictures to share soon.

Hoppy Easter!!!

Hip Hip, Hippity Hop! Did the Easter Bunny come to your house? The kids and I decorated Easter eggs last weekend.

Someone stole my phone at work tonight. I went to the bathroom, came back and it was gone. So, needless to say, if you need to reach me, you'll have to try me at home. Oh, and it was last used at 3:00 this morning, so I know I didn't just misplace it. I'm angry.

Super Saturday

I had my last day of training at Ebenezer today so not only am I officially an LPN, but now I can work without another nurse by my side. It was a fun night -- people are starting to know me and I'm starting to know them.

As for the date last night -- I think I forgot AWESOME as an adjective, which is what this would fall under. John is funny, nice, sweet and he wears nice shoes! We went out to dinner, went to listen to a band and then wrapped it up at Bumper's (my car was there). We met again tonight for a beer when I was done with work. Oh, and Carrie -- he's a Dale, Jr. fan!

Fantastic Friday

I'm so excited for tonight. I have a "date." First one in . . . well, we won't talk about that. Have to let you know how it goes later! I will spare you all details and just say good, not so good or eeeeew!

Wonderful Wednesday

It is the middle of Spring Break. We had a Girl Scout tour of Krispy Kreme today. The kids were able to make their own Easter doughnuts and then ate them! Then we went to Kohl's and the kids each got new shoes.

I PASSED MY BOARDS!!!!!
